In May 2023, LPTM Brother-in-Power David Adams and Institutional Marketing Manager Andrew Blickle were on local radio station WHUR FM 96.3 and WHUT TV on the Daily Drum. Andrew participated in a panel on youth mental health, discussing the role LPTM and other community-based organizations can play in building self esteem, resolve, and a sense of community and belonging. This conversation – Mental Health and Black America – is an important one. LPTM was honored to be invited into this conversation from our work with the Black Coalition for Health, and to be on the nation’s oldest Black-owned PBS station.
